Eliza Parker Rio Dress in Teal Print
Everyone has heard me complain in the past about how difficult it is to find fun print fabrics for dresses. Thankfully, this is not one of those times! I am so excited about our new Rio dress in Teal Print. It’s a classic wrap dress (very much like the Florence dresses) with a fabulous new print.
Liz is a big fan of Rio. Here’s a photo of her wearing it to an afternoon family party. She kept it casual with dressed up flip flops and minimal accessories.
Rio would also be a great option for weddings and cruises. It can easily be dressed up with heels (try gold, navy, or champagne colors) and a simple clutch. Throw a cardigan over Rio and you have a great office look, too.
Let us know how you would wear the Rio dress! xoxo Jessica
Eliza Parker Vineyard dress in Navy
The summer often poses the age old question: Be Cool or Be Chic? The Vineyard dress in Navy makes it possible to do both!
It’s an easy breezy cotton shirt dress that is super smart. It’s perfect for work, weekend, or even a casual daytime wedding. I love wearing it with a simple belt (this one is from Target) and champagne wedges. You can also go more casual and wear it with cute sandals and a tote or dress it up with pumps and statement jewelry.
The dress comes in 2 other colors – Turquoise and Kelly Green. Let us know how you wear it! xoxo Jessica
My favorite summer dress right now is our new Newport dress — available in Purple, Navy and Turquoise. It’s the ideal day to night warm-weather dress. It shifts easily from brunch with the girls to afternoon weddings to dinner under the stars.
This last weekend, my friend Laura wore the Newport in Navy to our 10 year college reunion. She looked fresh and chic through the day and night. The dress made a seamless transition from lunch to afternoon social hour to the class dinner event.
My friend Tigress will be wearing the Newport in Purple this weekend in New York. She modeled it for me this week so I grabbed a photo for the blog. I love how the ruffle detail around the bodice is feminine and also delicate. Lovely!
Send us photos of you wearing the Newport dress for our blog! Any submissions will receive $25 in Eliza Parker store credit!

Barb and Jess
Here are some additional pics from our adventures at NJFFW in Atlantic City. Barb (EP model, dear friend, and the original jersey girl) and I had an amazing time at the shopping event. We met so many gorgeous EP customers!
I also *finally* had the chance meet some of my favorite women from the plus size world. Gabi of blog Gabi Fresh , Chenese from Plus Size Model Radio , and Chelsea from MTV’s Chelsea Settles all stopped by our booth to say hi.I am such a fan of all three women — it was SO wonderful to meet these pioneers in person!
Last weekend Barb and I had the pleasure of attending New Jersey Full Figured Fashion Week in Atlantic City. Here’s the first of a few blog posts on our adventures:
The incredibly talented Susan Moses styled the fashion shows throughout the weekend. The Monaco, Portofino and Miami dresses all made appearances on the runway!
I love how Susan styled the Portofino dress – great head scarf, the Double Buckle Belt and fabulous wedges.
The Monaco dress in Purple looked chic paired with the Silver Buckle Belt and incredible purple heels (How did these models make it down the runway in 5 inch heels!?!?).
Sorry for the poor photo quality! These photos are courtesy of our iPhones. I’ll hopefully be posting the professional photos of the runway shows sometime soon. Stay Tuned! xoxo Jessica

Eliza Parker Portofino Dark Magenta with Million Ways Cardigan on Korey
Korey, my beautiful friend and a MyEliza model, is heading off on a cruise next month. She’ll be taking the Portofino dress in Dark Magenta (it’s on sale, by the way!) with her. The Portofino is a great option for a cruise. It’s chic enough for cocktail attire requirements at dinner, but it also manages to be comfortable for daytime excursions.
On a side note: the Portofino is definitely bra strap friendly. As our friend, Kelsey, discussed on her blog Charming Pumpkin recently, I recommend a plunge bra with this dress — it sits perfectly under the Portofino and eliminates the need for a camisole.
The Portofino is a breeze to accessorize for night or day. Korey styled the Portofino two ways: One for evening with a gorgeous statement necklace and strappy sandals. Look two pairs the Portofino with the Million Ways Cardigan. I love the relaxed daytime feel. Korey is sensational in both day and night looks! Let us know what you think! xoxo Jessica
Eliza Parker Verona Dress in Violet with Double Buckle Belt
A while back (you may notice the Christmas tree in the background!), I visited Niagara Falls and gambled a little at one of the casinos.
I wore the Verona dress in Violet with the Double Buckle Belt. It’s the perfect dress for chilly Canadian evenings. I am in love with the extra soft mohair jersey fabric.
Pair the Verona dress with tights and boots or simple sweet flats, and you have a fabulous outfit. The dress also proved to be lucky — I doubled my money on roulette! xoxo Jessica
