Fancy Pants!

Liz in Black Classic Pants and Magenta Cowl Top

Everyone knows that I love a great dress (obviously!). But, don’t underestimate the power of pants. The Classic Pants, to be specific. They are not just perfect for work. A sleek pair of trousers can be a fabulous and unexpected look for a cocktail party. Try wearing them with a fun top like the Cowl Neck in Magenta.

My awesome sister, Liz, rocked this look on Thanksgiving.  The Black Classic Pants look fabulous on her.  We didn’t get a booty photo, but trust me, it looked good! The pants are a super rich fabric with nice stretch.  The front pockets are stylish and functional.  Mix these pants with a fabulous top for the perfect holiday cocktail (party!).  xoxo Jessica

My Eliza Feature: Meet Alisha!

Last week I was incredibly delighted to receive pics from Eliza Parker customer, Alisha. She is looking gorgeous in the Verona dress in Violet. And, it’s her wedding day!  It’s an Eliza Parker first: one of our dresses was a bride’s wedding dress!  What an honor for EP to be included in such an important day.  The Verona looks luxurious and romantic on Alisha.

Alisha’s bouquet perfectly coordinates with the colors of the fall day and with the violet of the dress.  Accessories include a lovely necklace and bracelet and a beautiful headband.  She paired the dress with tights and heels.  And don’t forget the all-important ring!

It looks like it was a wonderful day. Congrats to Alisha & Kory!  So happy that you shared these gorgeous pics with us.  Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness.  xoxo Jessica

Oh, Baby!

Everyone knows that I love a good party. What do I love more? Hosting a good party! A few weeks ago, I helped throw a baby shower for my good friend Neha.

The day was full of games, gifts, and good food (cupcakes, to be specific!).  We had a great time celebrating with Neha.

Of course, we took the required Eliza Parker photo to commemorate the occasion.   Check out Laura in the Verona dress and Takara in the Bordeaux dress — gorgeous! Guess what I wore? The Sofia in black, my favorite dress for fall.   xoxo Jessica

Verona via New York

Eliza Parker Verona in Teal

New York is one of my favorite places. Tons of friends and tons to do there.  My recent trip included a stop in central park, a visit to the incredible 9/11 Memorial, and dinner and drinks with some really good friends.

The day was seasonably warm (low 70s) so I opted for a dress — the Verona in Teal, to be specific.  It’s outrageously soft and certainly cute enough for a New York afternoon and evening.

During the day, I wore my walking sandals (function beats fashion here).  I traded them in for my neutral bling-bling flats later in the evening. The bag? Function wins again! The industrial, over-sized tote is necessary for a day on the town.  xoxo Jessica

Wedding Wonderland, 2nd edition

Sevilla Dress in Black

The last few weeks have been all about the wedding. For someone who loves dressing up, it was a dream come true.

You already read about my friend, Amanda’s wedding (Portofino Dress in Black!).  The second of the season was for David & Nikki.  It was a very special black-tie night in Philadelphia.  I wore the Sevilla Dress in Black. Truth be told, it was the second time I have ever worn the dress (I just don’t have the opportunity to wear a formal dress that often).  It was a hit: Super chic, perfect length, very comfortable, sexy, and sophisticated. I opted to wear it with a lacy black camisole.  You could wear it without, but I wanted to dance without worrying about the girls popping out so the camisole was my insurance. Since the cami was lacy, it didn’t take away from the look.  I think it actually made the dress even sexier.  The Silver Buckle Belt was the perfect accessory. I also wore a sparkly cocktail ring, bling-bling earrings, a large black clutch and black wedges.

Overall, the night was fabulous and the Sevilla dress did not disappoint.  It even held up well at the after party. I ditched the heels and finished the night off in flip flops (they were stowed comfortably in my clutch during the wedding).
